Bhagwandin Singh Patel Mahavidyalaya, Ragauli Chitrakoot was established by Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Seva Sansthan Karvi in the year 2010. This college is located in rural area of Chitrakoot district and is affiliated to Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. Financially prosperous students of the district go to other cities and get higher education. But it is challenging for the poor students of the district to get higher education.
Therefore, to provide opportunities for higher education and better future to the students of the district, Bhagwandin Singh Patel College has been established by Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Seva Sansthan. This college is near Karvi on Karvi-Budha-Rajapur road. But it is located near Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Inter College.
